Microneedling with anteage growth factors
How can microneedling the scalp benefit for hair growth?
-
Increased blood flow: Tiny needles create micro-injuries on the scalp; your body's response is to send more blood flow to this area to heal the wounds. This increased blood flow brings oxygen and essential nutrients to your hair follicles, which can stimulate hair growth.
-
Collagen production boost: Microneedling can also trigger the production of collagen, a protein that supports healthy hair growth.
-
Enhanced absorption: Microneedling can also help with better absorption of topical solutions, such as those containing growth factors, stem cells, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
What is AnteAGE Hair Solution?
AnteAGE MD Hair Microneedling Solution incorporates recent advances in hair follicle science. Specialized techniques influence bone marrow stem cell cultures to produce conditioned media focused on hair growth. Twelve bio-identical growth factors and cytokines, each with proven efficacy in hair follicle stimulation, are added to make this the most scientifically advanced product of its type (AnteAGE, 2020).
How many scalp microneedling sessions will I need to see results?
At Drops of Beauty, we recommend having at least 3 microneedling treatments to start seeing results. Some patients may need additional sessions to see better results or to help maintain the desired outcome.
platelet-rich plasma injections (prp)
What is Platelet-Rich Plasma?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a treatment that uses your own blood, and which can help accelerate healing in certain areas of your body. PRP is made from two main parts of your blood:
-
Plasma: The liquid portion that contains proteins and other substances.
-
Platelets: Cell fragments which contain substances called growth factors that play a role in healing tissues.
To create PRP, a nurse will draw your blood and then spin it in a centrifuge. This separates the blood components, concentrating the platelets into a smaller amount of plasma. This concentrated mixture is then the PRP. PRP can be use topically or injected directly into the treatment area.

Can PRP help with hair loss?
Yes, PRP can be used as a therapeutic option for hair loss including androgenetic alopecia and female pattern hair loss, either as a monotherapy or as a complement to other therapies or to hair transplant. PRP is also considered a safe, effective, steroid sparing, and alternative treatment for alopecia areata.

RED LIGHT THERAPY
Does red light therapy work for hair loss?
Red light therapy is a treatment that uses red light to stimulate hair growth. There is growing evidence that red LED therapy can be an effective treatment for androgenic alopecia, a genetic disorder that causes hair loss in both men and women.
Red light therapy can help with:
-
Increased blood flow to the scalp
-
Improved nutrient delivery to the hair follicles
-
Stimulation of hair follicle stem cells
-
Reduced inflammation in the scalp
Red light therapy can increase hair density, thickness, and growth rate. Although regular use of LED light therapy is necessary to see the best results, at Drops of Beauty we provide a complimentary 25min session with our iRestore cap after every hair treatment (e.g. microneedling, PRP injections).
