What is Sculptra?

Sculptra is one of the newest treatments designed by Galderma. This is not a filler, but a poly-L-lactic acid injection which works with your body to increase collagen production. The enhanced collagen levels help your skin regain volume and fill in wrinkles and folds. Sculptra helps restore your skin’s foundation by stimulating your natural collagen production to firm and smooth the entire cheek region and tighten the skin along the jawline.

Then Sculptra is your treatment of choice! The full results of your treatment should be visible after about six weeks. More visible, long-lasting results will appear with time, as your collagen levels increase.

What is a Sculptra injection like?

The first step is to have a consultation with one of our experienced cosmetic injectors, they will determine if you are a candidate for Sculptra and will help you decide if it is the right choice for you. The entire process lasts about one hour as our injector will carefully apply the filler in the areas where you need it the most. Even though Sculptra is integrated with a numbing agent we do apply a topical numbing to your skin before doing the injection to reduce discomfort during the procedure.

How many vials of Sculptra will I need?

Our specialists recommend one vial of Sculptra per each decade of life. For example, if you are in your 50's, you may require five vials of Sculptra. Some patients may require more or less vials, depending on the needs and expectations.
